Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied. For instance, the top shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar item, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the level of the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded. The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat. Players can roll their equipment using three categories that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power increases the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health. Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces. The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades. Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money. During the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool. Growthstones In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts. To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item then click the “level up button”. This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone. After deciding on the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes. The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to get a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank accounts. Clicking on the “transfer tab”, players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear. New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones. Leveling Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached. Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum equipment level. The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can add an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process. A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each upgrade, the stats of the base item will increase by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19. When an item reaches its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with a discount. Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely. Requirements Items upgrades allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with a number Upgrade Tokens. The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them extra effects or an increased quality of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once upgrade item is inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely. Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item. For instance, the helm upgrade “Foundation of the Sun” improves base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS “Wildfire” on the other hand increases damage from weapons. Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get an exact roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version. The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of that item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade. Once you've met the required requirements for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
